My focus in photography is people.
From individual fashion and / or street photo shoots, to concert and event photography, as well as high-end commercial shoots.
I am completely in my element when I capture the decisive moment with a single, highly sensitive click on the shutter of my camera, which reflects the feeling,
character and desire of the respective protagonist.
I prefer to shoot in a "ready-made" environment, outside my studio. I love people in their diversity and express exactly this love in my work.
Strictly speaking, I'm all about living out dreams, realizing my ideas and creating something new, my own and leaving my fingerprint, a stamp on the world.
This fingerprint, 30 years of experience from photography and video production, I translate since 2015 also to my childhood dream of classic film production for TV and cinema.

Behind the Scenes Magic:
Crafting Stories in the Editing Room
In 1982, as a kid in my grandma's basement, I used an old slide projector to project outer space onto a white bedsheet behind a moonscape made of window putty, capturing it with my dad's Super8 camera and later editing it in analog.
Today — 40 years later — I often have to think of this, my first sci-fi footage, with a smile when I combine 2D as well as 3D content with previously produced footage on DaVinci Resolve or After Effects.
For editing, animation and compositing I use ADOBE Suite and DaVinci Resolve Studio as well as software from Boris FX, Blender, and Houdini.
The future of 3D is clearly “real-time” so I've been excited about Unreal Engine for a few months now.

That's me
I am a photographer & film content creator with a focus on post production and visual effects.
Before and after my studies I worked in film and advertising for many years. This time has of course influenced me a lot and trained my eye to not only simply highlight the essentials, but also to bring out the supposedly non-essentials.
As a photographer, VFX specialist and film editor, I am in the fortunate position of having the chance to turn a childhood dream into a vocation and this into a profession.
This passion ignited in me at a young age.
Since I was 9, I knew that editing static as well as moving images was my calling.
Although I first completed a part-time course of studies to become a media marketing specialist, my job as a supervisor ink & paint in a Munich-based for 2D & 3D animation in the mid-1990s helped me to pursue my childhood dream.
